Lowbrakefluidwarninglight:
idle the engine. The driving mode
willchangeto2WDtopreventthe
AWDsystemfrommalfunctioning.
If the warning light turns off, you
candriveagain.
Thelightwarnsofalowbrakefluidlevel.Ifthe
lightcomesonwhiletheengineisrunningwith
the parking brake not applied, stop the vehicle
andperformthefollowing:
The
warninglightcomesonwhenthekey
switchisturnedtoON.Itturnsoffsoonafterthe
engineisstarted.

Checkthebrakefluidlevel.Addbrakefluidas
necessary.See“Brakefluid”inthe“8.Main-
tenanceanddo-it-yourself”section.
If the AWD system malfunctions or the revolu-
tion, or radius of the front and the rear wheel
differs,thewarninglightwilleitherremainillumi-
nated or blink. See “Using all wheel drive
(AWD)”inthe“5.Startinganddriving”section.
