Donotusethecruisecontrolwhendriv-
ingunderthefollowingconditions:

itisnotpossibletokeepthevehicle
atasetspeed.

Do not release the parking brake
fromoutsidethevehicle.

inheavytrafficorintrafficthatvaries
inspeed.
Donotusethegearshiftinplaceof
theparkingbrake.Whenparking,be
sure the parking brake is fully en-
gaged.

on slippery roads (rain, snow, ice,
etc.).

Toapply:Fullydepresstheparkingbrakepedal.

Donotleavechildrenunattendedina
vehicle.Theycouldreleasethepark-
ingbrakeandcauseanaccident.
Doing so could cause a loss of vehicle

Depress the parking brake pedal and the
parkingbrakewillbereleased.

Before driving, be sure the brake warning
lightgoesout.

If the cruise control system malfunctions, it
cancelsautomatically.TheSETindicatorlight
on the meter panel then blinks to warn the
driver.

If the SET indicator light blinks, turn the
cruise control main switch off and have the
systemcheckedbyyourNISSANdealer.
