TheHomeLink  UniversalTransceiverprovidesa
convenient way to consolidate the functions of
uptothreeindividualhand-heldtransmittersinto
onebuilt-indevice.

UniversalTransceiver:

Will operate most Radio Frequency (RF)
devices such as garage doors, gates, home
and office lighting, entry door locks and se-
curitysystems.
¼
Is powered by your vehicle’s battery. No
separate batteries are required. If the vehi-
cle’s battery is discharged or is  discon-
nected, HomeLink will retain all program-
ming.

The light on the vanity mirror will turn on when
thecoveronthevanitymirrorisopened.
OncetheHomeLink  UniversalTransceiver
is programmed, retain the original trans-
mitter for future programming procedures
(i.e.,newvehiclepurchases).Uponsaleof
the vehicle, the programmed HomeLink
Universal Transceiver buttons should be
erased for security purposes. For addi-
tional information, refer to “Programming
HomeLink ”laterinthissection.
When the switch is in the ON positionkA , the
lightilluminateswhilethebackdoorisopened.
Whenthebackdoorisclosed,thelightwillgo
off.
When the ceiling light or the map light
switch or rear light switch is in the ON
position, the ceiling, map, rear and vanity
mirror lights will automatically turn off 30
minutesaftertheignitionswitchhasbeen
turnedtotheOFFposition.Toturnonthe
lightagain,insertthekeyintotheignition
switchandmoveittotheONposition.
WhentheswitchisintheOFFpositionkB      ,the
lightwillturnoff.
