To remove the filter from the air cleaner, push

downthelockpins 1 andpulltheunitupward
k

.
Itisnotnecessarytoreplacetheplatinum-tipped
spark plugs as frequently as the conventional
typesparkplugssincetheywilllastmuchlonger.
Follow the maintenance schedule but, do not
reusethembycleaningorregapping.
The filter element should not be cleaned and
reused.Replaceitaccordingtothemaintenance
log shown in the separate Service and Mainte-
nanceGuide.Whenreplacingthefilter,wipethe
inside of the air cleaner housing and the cover
withadampcloth.
If replacement is required, see your NISSAN
dealerforservicing.
