The SecurityAlarm System is designed to protect your
vehicle; however, you can create conditions where the
system will arm unexpectedly. If you remain in the
vehicleandlockthedoorswiththeRKEtransmitter,once
thesystemisarmed(after16seconds),whenyoupullthe
doorhandletoexit,thealarmwillsound.Ifthisoccurs,
press the UNLOCK button on the RKE transmitter to
disarmthesystem.Youmayalsoaccidentallydisarmthe
systembyunlockingthedriver’sdoorwiththekeyand
thenlockingit.ThedoorwillbelockedbuttheSecurity
Alarmwillnotarm.
REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY — IF EQUIPPED

ILLUMINATED ENTRY
Theinteriorlightswillcomeonwhenyouopenanydoor.
RemoteKeylessEntry(KeyFob)
This system allows you to lock or unlock the doors,
swing gate, and activate the panic alarm from a maxi-
mum distance of 66 ft (20 m) using a hand-held radio
transmitter(keyfob).TheRKEtransmitterdoesnotneed
tobepointedatthevehicletoactivatethesystem.
Thelightswillremainonafterallofthedoorsareclosed,
andthenfadetooffortheywillimmediatelyfadetooff
oncetheignitionswitchisturnedon.
