Some of the most important safety features in your
vehiclearetherestraintsystems.Theseincludethefront
andrearseatbeltsforthedriverandallpassengers,front
airbagsforboththedriverandfrontpassenger,andside
airbags (if equipped) for both the driver and front
passenger.Ifyouwillbecarryingchildrentoosmallfor
adult-sizebelts,yourseatbeltscanalsobeusedtohold
infantandchildrestraintsystems.
In a collision, you and your passengers can suffer
injuries,includingfatalities,ifyouarenotproperly
buckled up. You can strike the interior of your
vehicleorotherpassengers,oryoucanbethrownout
ofthevehicle.Alwaysbesureyouandothersinyour
vehiclearebuckledupproperly.
