in severe transmission damage. Refer to “Recreational

Whenfrequenttransmissionshiftingoccurswhileusing
Overdrive, such as when operating the vehicle under
heavy load conditions (for example, in hilly terrain,
strong head winds, or trailer towing), turning off over-
drivewillimproveperformanceandextendtransmission
lifebyreducingexcessiveshiftingandheatbuildup.

containsanelectronically-controlled4thgearOverdrive,
andwillautomaticallyshiftfromDRIVEtoOVERDRIVE
