TheSmartBeamsystemprovidesincreasedforwardlight-
ing at night by automating high beam control through
the use of a digital camera mounted on the inside
rearviewmirror.Thiscameradetectsvehiclespecificlight
and automatically switches from high beams to low
beamsuntiltheapproachingvehicleisoutofview.

2. TurntheendofthemultifunctionlevertotheAUTO
headlightposition.
NOTE: If the windshield or SmartBeam mirror is re-
placed, the SmartBeam mirror must be re-aimed to
ensure proper performance. See your local authorized
dealer.
3. Pushthemultifunctionleverawayfromyou(toward
frontofvehicle)toengagethehighbeammode.
NOTE: Thissystemwillnotactivateuntilthevehicleis
atorabove20mph(32km/h).
