manual.Seeyourauthorizeddealerifthefuseisgood.
Youwillwanttohavetheairbagsystemreadytoinflate
for your protection in an impact. The airbag system is
designedtobemaintenancefree.Ifanyofthefollowing
occurs, have an authorized dealer service the system
promptly:
EventDataRecorder(EDR)
In the event of an accident, your vehicle is designed to
recorduptofivesecondsofspecificvehicledataparam-
eters (see the following list) in an event data recorder
prior to the moment of airbag deployment, or near
deployment,anduptoone-quartersecondofhigh-speed
decelerationdataduringand/orafterairbagdeployment
ornear-deployment.EDRdataareONLYrecordedifan
airbag deploys, or nearly deploys, and are otherwise
unavailable.

AirbagWarningLightdoesnotcomeonduringthesix
toeightsecondsaftertheignitionswitchisfirstturned
on,
•
•
Remainsonafterthesixtoeightsecondinterval,or
Flickers,orcomesonandremainsonforanyperiodof
timewhiledriving.
NOTE:
NOTE: If the speedometer, tachometer, or any engine
relatedgaugesarenotworking,theairbagcontrolmod-
ulemayalsobedisabled.Theairbagsmaynotbeready
to inflate for your protection. Promptly check the fuse
• sensorA near-deploymentdetects severeeventvehicleoccursdecelerationwhen usuallythe airbagin-
dicativeofacrash,butnotsevereenoughtowarrant
airbagdeployment.
