recreationaltowing.
Recreationaltowingisnotallowed.Thismodeldoesnot
haveaNEUTRALpositioninthetransfercase.
CAUTION!
Towing — Quadra–Trac IIா /Quadra–Drive  IIா 4WD
Models
Itisnecessarytofollowthesestepstobecertainthat
the transfer case is fully in NEUTRALbefore recre-
ationaltowingtopreventdamagetointernalparts.
CAUTION!

Frontorrearwheelliftsshouldnotbeused.Internal
damagetothetransmissionortransfercasewilloccur
ifafrontorrearwheelliftisusedwhenrecreational
towing.
1. Depressthebrakepedal.
2.
TurntheignitionkeyON,engineoff.
3. ShiftthetransmissionintoNEUTRAL.
ShiftthetransfercaseintoNEUTRAL.
4.
NOTE:
The transfer case must be in the NEUTRAL
position, and the transmission must be in the PARK
positionforrecreationaltowing.
