PlacetransmissionintoNEUTRAL.
HolddowntheNEUTRAL“pin”switch(withapen,
etc.) for four seconds until the LED lamp by the switch
startstoblinkindicatingshiftinprogress.Thelampwill
stopblinking(stayonsolid)whentheNEUTRALshiftis
complete.A“4WDSYSTEMINNEUTRAL”messagewill
display on the EVIC (Electronic Vehicle Information
Center).Referto“ElectronicVehicleInformationCenter
(EVIC)”inSection4ofthismanual.

If shift conditions/interlocks are not met, a
“CHECKSHIFTPROCEDURES”messagewillflashfrom
