THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR  VEHICLE

airbagsIt is nothaveadvisabledeployed.to Ifdriveyouareyourinvolvedvehicleinafteranotherthe
collision,theairbagswillnotbeinplacetoprotectyou.

Deployedairbagsandseatbeltpretensionerscannot
protect you in another collision. Have the airbags,
seatbeltpretensioners,andseatbeltretractorassem-
bly, replaced by an authorized dealer as soon as
possible.
As the airbags deflate you may see some smoke-like
particles.Theparticlesareanormalby-productofthe
processthatgeneratesthenontoxicgasusedforairbag
inflation.Theseairborneparticlesmayirritatetheskin,
eyes,nose,orthroat.Ifyouhaveskinoreyeirritation,
rinse the area with cool water. For nose or throat
irritation,movetofreshair.Iftheirritationcontinues,
see your doctor. If these particles settle  on your
clothing, follow the garment manufacturer’s instruc-
tionsforcleaning.
EnhancedAccidentResponseFeature
If the airbags deploy after an impact and the electrical
system remains  functional, vehicles equipped  with
powerdoorlockswillunlockautomatically.Thehazard
lightswillflashandthefuelwillbecutofftotheengine.
In addition, after the vehicle has stopped moving, the
interiorlightswillilluminatetoaidvisibilityandremain
lituntiltheignitionswitchisturnedoff.
