driving conditions. The speed corresponds to the trans-
missiongearselected.
HDCoperationcanbeoverriddenwithbrakeapplication
toslowthevehicledownbelowtheHDCcontrolspeed.
Conversely,ifmorespeedisdesiredduringHDCcontrol,
the accelerator pedal will increase vehicle speed in the
usualmanner.Wheneitherthebrakeortheacceleratoris
released,HDCwillcontrolthevehiclebacktotheorigi-
nalsetspeed.
