engine and life expectancy of this diesel particulate
filteremissiondeviceishighlydependentontheuse
ofthecorrectengineoil.
The engine oil filler cap also shows the recommended
engineoilviscosityforyourvehicle.Forinformationon
engine oil filler cap location, refer to “Engine Compart-
ment”inthissection.
Lubricants,whichdonothaveboththeengineoilcerti-
ficationmarkandthecorrectSAEviscositygradenum-
ber,shouldnotbeused.
SAE 5W-30 Synthetic Low Ash engine oil is recom-
mended for all operating temperatures. This engine oil
improves low temperature starting and vehicle fuel
economy.
