NOTE: Prior to off-road driving, remove the front air
damtopreventdamage.Thefrontairdamisattachedto
thelowerfrontfasciawithquarterturnfasteners,andcan
beremovedbyhand.
When driving through water, do not exceed 5 mph

km/h).Alwayscheckwaterdepthbeforeentering
asaprecaution,andcheckallfluidsafterward.Driv-
ingthroughwatermaycausedamagethatmaynotbe
coveredbythenewvehiclelimitedwarranty.
When To Use 4WD LOW Range — If Equipped
Whenoff-roaddriving,shiftto4WDLOWforadditional
traction. This range should be limited to extreme situa-
tionssuchasdeepsnow,mud,orsandwhereadditional
low speed pulling power is needed. Vehicle speeds in
excessof25mph(40km/h)shouldbeavoidedwhenin
4WDLOWrange.
Driving through water more than a few inches/
centimeters deep will require extra caution to ensure
safetyandpreventdamagetoyourvehicle.Ifyoumust
drivethroughwater,trytodeterminethedepthandthe
bottomcondition(andlocationofanyobstacles)priorto
entering. Proceed with caution and maintain a steady
controlledspeedlessthan5mph(8km/h)indeepwater
tominimizewaveeffects.
