pensiondimensionsandperformancecharacteris-
tics,resultinginchangestosteering,handling,and
brakingofyourvehicle.Thiscancauseunpredict-
able handling and stress to steering and suspen-
sioncomponents.Youcouldlosecontrolandhave
an accident resulting in serious injury or death.
Useonlythetireandwheelsizeswithloadratings
approvedforyourvehicle.
Never use a tire with a smaller load index or
capacity than what was originally equipped on
yourvehicle.Usingatirewithasmallerloadindex
could result in tire overloading and failure. You
couldlosecontrolandhaveanaccident.
Thetiresonyournewvehicleprovideabalanceofmany
characteristics. They should be inspected regularly for
wearandcorrectcoldtireinflationpressure.Themanu-
facturerstronglyrecommendsthatyouusetiresequiva-
lent to the originals in size, quality and performance
whenreplacementisneeded.(Refertotheparagraphon
“TreadWearIndicators”).Refertothe“TireandLoading
Information” placard for the size designation of your
tires.Theservicedescriptionandloadidentificationwill
be found on the original equipment tire. Failure to use
equivalent replacement tires may adversely affect the
safety,handling,andrideofyourvehicle.Werecommend
that you contact your original equipment or an autho-
rizedtiredealerwithanyquestionsyoumayhaveontire
specificationsorcapability.
