This feature heats both the front driver and passenger
seats.Thecontrolsforthefrontheatedseatsarelocated
ontheinstrumentpanelbelowtheclimatecontrols.After
turningtheignitionON,youcanchoosefromHigh,Low
orOffheatsettings.Amberindicatorlightsineachswitch
indicatethelevelofheatinuse.Twoindicatorlightswill
illuminateforHigh,oneforLowandnoneforOff.

DonotplaceitemsoverthetopoftheActiveHead
Restraint, such as coats, seat covers or portable
DVDplayers.Theseitemsmayinterferewiththe
operationoftheActiveHeadRestraintintheevent
ofanaccidentandcouldresultinseriousinjuryor
death.
Active Head Restraints may be deployed if they
arestruckbyanobjectsuchasahand,footorloose
cargo. To avoid accidental deployment of the Ac-
tive Head Restraint ensure that all cargo is se-
cured,asloosecargocouldcontacttheActiveHead
Restraint during sudden stops. Failure to follow
this warning could cause personal injury if the
ActiveHeadRestraintisdeployed.

PresstheswitchoncetoselectHigh-levelheat-
ing. Press the switch a second time to select
Low-levelheating.Presstheswitchathirdtime
toshuttheheatingelementsOff.
WhenHigh-levelheatingisselected,theheatersprovide
a boosted heat level during the first four minutes of
operationafterheatingisactivated.Theheatoutputthen
drops to the normal High-level heating. If High-level
heatingisselected,thesystemwillautomaticallyswitch
to Low-level heating after approximately 30 minutes of
