Cleaning the ParkSenseா System
• positionWhen youandmoveParkSensethe ௡shiftisturnedleveroff,to thetheinstrumentREVERSE
clusterwilldisplay“PARKASSISTDISABLED”mes-
sageforaslongasthevehicleisinREVERSE.
CleantheParkSense௡sensorswithwater,carwashsoap
andasoftcloth.Donotuseroughorhardcloths.Donot
scratchorpokethesensors.Otherwise,youcoulddam-
agethesensors.

ParkSense௡,whenon,willMUTEtheradiowhenitis
soundingatone.
ParkSenseா System Usage Precautions
NOTE:
• chimeIf a ParkSensewillsound௡ systemoncepermalfunctionignitioncycle.occurs,Inaddition,a  single

Ensurethattherearbumperisfreeofsnow,ice,mud,
dirtanddebristokeeptheParkSense௡systemoperat-
ingproperly.
theElectronicVehicleInformationCenter(EVIC)will
display “SERVICE PARK ASSIST SYSTEM” and the
LED in the ParkSense௡ switch will illuminate. If this
occurs after making sure the rear fascia/bumper is
clean and clear of snow, ice, mud, dirt, or other
obstruction,seeyourauthorizeddealerforservice.

Jackhammers,largetrucks,andothervibrationscould
affecttheperformanceofParkSense௡.
WhenyouturnParkSense௡off,theinstrumentcluster
will display “PARK ASSIST DISABLED.” Further-
more, once you turn ParkSense௡ off, it remains off
untilyouturnitonagain,evenifyoucycletheignition
key.
