The multifunction lever on the left side of the steering
columncontrolstheoperationoftheheadlights,parking
lights,turnsignallights,instrumentpanellights,instru-
mentpanellightdimming,interiorlightsandfoglights
(ifequipped).
•
Beforeclosinghood,makesurethehoodproprod
isfullyseatedintoitsstorageretainingclips.
Lower the hood to approximately 6 in (15.2 cm)
above the closed position and drop the hood to
latchit.

Neverdriveyourvehicleunlessthehoodisfully
closed,withbothlatchesengaged.
WARNING!
Besurethehoodisfullylatchedbeforedrivingyour
vehicle.Ifthehoodisnotfullylatched,itcouldopen
whenthevehicleisinmotionandblockyourvision.
Failuretofollowthiswarningcouldresultinserious
injuryordeath.
