Coldtireinflationpressureisdefinedasthetirepressureafterthe
vehiclehasnotbeendrivenforatleast3hours,ordrivenless
than1mile(1.6km)aftersittingforathreehourperiod.Inflation
pressureismeasuredinunitsofPSI(poundspersquareinch)or
KPa(kilopascals).
MaximumInflationPressure
Themaximuminflationpressureisthemaximumpermissiblecold
tireinflationpressureforthistire.Themaxinflationpressureis
moldedintothesidewall.
RecommendedInflationPressure
TirePlacard
Vehiclemanufacturer’srecommendedtireinflationpressureas
shownonthetireplacard.
Apaperlabelpermanentlyattachedtothevehicleshowingthe
vehicle’sloadingcapacity,theoriginalequipmenttiresizeandthe
recommendedinflationpressure.
