The top of the maintenance-free battery is permanently
sealed.Youwillneverhavetoaddwater,norisperiodic
maintenancerequired.
Theairinductionsystem(aircleaner,hoses,etc.)can
provideameasureofprotectioninthecaseofengine
backfire.Donotremovetheairinductionsystem(air
cleaner,hoses,etc.)unlesssuchremovalisnecessary
forrepairormaintenance.Makesurethatnooneis
near the engine compartment before starting the
vehicle with the air induction system (air cleaner,
hoses, etc.) removed. Failure to do so can result in
seriouspersonalinjury.

Battery fluid is a corrosive acid solution and can
burnorevenblindyou.Donotallowbatteryfluid
tocontactyoureyes,skin,orclothing.Donotlean
over a battery when attaching clamps. If acid
splashesineyesoronskin,flushtheareaimme-
diatelywithlargeamountsofwater.
Battery gas is flammable and explosive. Keep 7
flameorsparksawayfromthebattery.Donotuse
aboosterbatteryoranyotherboostersourcewith
anoutputgreaterthan12volts.Donotallowcable
clampstotoucheachother.
EngineAirCleanerFilterSelection
Thequalityofreplacementengineaircleanerfiltersvaries
considerably.Onlyhighqualityfiltersshouldbeusedto
assuremostefficientservice.MOPARengineaircleaner
filtersareahighqualityfilterandarerecommended.
