Mostofthetime,wheninAutomaticOperation,you
can temporarily put the system into Recirculation
ModebypressingtheRecirculationbutton.However,
under certain conditions, while in Automatic Mode,
thesystemisblowingairoutthedefrostvents.When
these conditions are present, and the Recirculation
buttonispressed,theindicatorwillflashandthenturn
off. This tells you that you are unable to go into
RecirculationModeatthistime.Ifyouwouldlikethe
systemtogointoRecirculationMode,youmustfirst
movetheModeknobtoPanel,Panel/Floorandthen
presstheRecirculationbutton.Thisfeaturereducesthe
possibilityofwindowfogging.
The engine cooling system in air-conditioned vehicles
mustbeprotectedwithahigh-qualityantifreezecoolant
to provide proper corrosion protection and to protect
against engine overheating. Asolution of 50% ethylene
glycolantifreezecoolantand50%waterisrecommended.
