To activate the delay, turn the ignition switch to the Daytime Running Lights — If Equipped
LOCK position while the headlights are still on. Then, The high beam headlights will turn on as Daytime

Ifyouturntheheadlightsoffbeforetheignition,theywill
turnoffinthenormalmanner.
Lights-On Reminder
The Headlight delay time is programmable on vehicles
equippedwiththeElectronicVehicleInformationCenter
(EVIC). Refer to “Electronic Vehicle Information Center
(EVIC)/Customer-Programmable Features” in “Under-
standingYourInstrumentPanel”forfurtherinformation.
Iftheheadlightsorparkinglightsareonaftertheignition
is turned to the LOCK position, a chime will sound to
alertthedriverwhenthedriver’sdoorisopened.
