gerousgas.Donotrunyourvehicleinthegarage
while training the transceiver. Exhaust gas can
causeseriousinjuryordeath.

TurntheignitionswitchtotheON/RUNposition.
Hold the battery side of the handheld transmitter
awayfromtheHomeLink௡buttonyouwishtoprogram.
Placethehandheldtransmitter1–3in(3-8cm)awayfrom
the HomeLink௡ button you wish to program while
keepingtheindicatorlightinview.

BeforeYouBegin
If you have not trained any of the HomeLink௡ buttons,
eraseallchannelsbeforeyoubegintraining.

Simultaneously press and  hold both the  chosen
HomeLink௡buttonandthehandheldtransmitterbutton
untiltheHomeLink௡indicatorchangesfromaslowtoa
rapidlyblinkinglight,thenreleaseboththeHomeLink௡
andhandheldtransmitterbuttons.
To do this, press and hold the two outside buttons for

secondsuntiltheredindicatorflashes.
It is recommended that a new battery be placed in the
handheldtransmitterofthedevicethatisbeingcopiedto
HomeLink௡ for more efficient training and accurate
transmissionoftheradio-frequencysignal.
WatchfortheHomeLink௡indicatortochangeflashrates.
When it changes, it is programmed. It may take up to
30
secondsorlongerinrarecases.Thegaragedoormay
openandclosewhileyoutrain.
