Sound and Display is selected from the Customer-
ProgrammableFeaturessectionoftheElectronicVehicle
Information Center (EVIC). Refer to “Electronic Vehicle
InformationCenter(EVIC)/PersonalSettings(Customer-
Programmable Features)” in “Understanding Your In-
strumentPanel”forfurtherinformation.
ParkSensecanbeactiveonlywhentheshiftleverisin
REVERSE. If ParkSense is enabled at this shift lever
position,thesystemwillbeactiveuntilthevehiclespeed
is increased to approximately 11 mph (18 km/h) or
above. The system will be active again if the vehicle
speed is decreased to speeds less than approximately TheParkSenseWarningDisplayislocatedintheInstru-

mph(16km/h).

ParkSenseா Sensors
ThefourParkSensesensors,locatedintherearfascia/
bumper, monitor the area behind the vehicle that is
withinthesensors’fieldofview.
The sensors can detect obstacles from approximately

in (30 cm) up to 79 in (200 cm) from the rear
fascia/bumperinthehorizontaldirection,dependingon
thelocation,typeandorientationoftheobstacle.
