VEHICLE SECURITY ALARM — IF EQUIPPED
The Vehicle SecurityAlarm monitors the vehicle doors,
liftgate, and liftgate flip-up window for unauthorized
entryandignitionforunauthorizedoperation.
NOTE: Ifaprogrammedkeyislost,seeyourauthorized
dealer to have all remaining keys erased from the sys-
tem’smemory.Thiswillpreventthelostkeyfromstarting
your vehicle. The remaining keys must then be repro-
grammed.Allvehiclekeysmustbetakentoanauthorized
dealeratthetimeofservicetobereprogrammed.
If something triggers the alarm, the Vehicle Security
Alarmwillsoundthehornintermittently,theheadlights,
parklampsand/orturnsignalsandtheVehicleSecurity
Lightintheinstrumentclusterwillflash.
NOTE: ThePanicandSecurityalarmsarequitediffer-
ent.PleasetakeamomenttoactivatethePanicandthe
Securitymodestohearthedifferencesinthehorn.Incase
one should go off in the future, you will need to know
whichmodehasbeenactivatedinordertodeactivateit.
