Moonroof
BeforewashingyourMazda,makesurethe
moonroofiscompletelyclosedsothatwater
doesnotgetinsidethecabinarea.After
washingyourMazdaorafteritrains,wipethe
wateroffthemoonroofbeforeoperatingitto
avoidwaterpenetrationwhichcouldcause
rustandwaterdamagetoyourheadliner.
Themoonroofcanbeopenedorclosed
electricallyonlywhentheignitionis
switchedON.

Therearofthemoonroofcanbetilted
opentoprovidemoreventilation.
Tofullytiltautomatically,momentarily
pressthetiltswitch.
Tostoptiltingpartway,pressanypartof
thetiltorslideswitch.
WARNING
Toclosetothedesiredposition,pressthe
frontoftheslideswitchorpullthetilt
switch.
Donotletpassengersstandupor
extendpartoftheirbodythroughthe
openmoonroofwhilethevehicleis
moving:
Extendingthehead,arms,orother
partsofthebodythroughthe
moonroofisdangerous.Theheador
armscouldhitsomethingwhilethe
vehicleismoving.Thiscouldcause
seriousinjuryordeath.
Tilt down
Makesuretheopeningisclearbefore
closingthemoonroof:
Close (Tilt down)
Tilt up
Aclosingmoonroofisdangerous.The
hands,head,orevenneckofa
person―especiallyachild―could
becaughtinitasitcloses,causing
seriousinjuryorevendeath.
