you'reunsureaboutanyservicingormaintenanceprocedure,haveitdonebyan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.
Therearestrictenvironmentallawsregardingthedisposalofwasteoilandfluids.Please
disposeofyourwasteproperlyandwithdueregardtotheenvironment.
WerecommendthatyouentrusttheoilandfluidchangesofyourvehicletoanAuthorized

thepropertoolsandequipmenttodothework.Havemaintenanceworkdonebya

Performingmaintenanceworkonavehicleisdangerousifnotdoneproperly.You
canbeseriouslyinjuredwhileperformingsomemaintenanceprocedures.
Ifyoumustruntheenginewhileworkingunderthehood,makecertainthatyou
removealljewelry(especiallyrings,bracelets,watches,andnecklaces)andall
neckties,scarves,andsimilarlooseclothingbeforegettingneartheengineorcooling
fanwhichmayturnonunexpectedly:
Workingunderthehoodwiththeenginerunningisdangerous.Itbecomeseven
moredangerouswhenyouwearjewelryorlooseclothing.
Eithercanbecomeentangledinmovingpartsandresultininjury.
Switchtheignitiontooffandmakesurethefanisnotrunningbeforeattemptingto
worknearthecoolingfan:
Workingnearthecoolingfanwhenitisrunningisdangerous.Thefancould
continuerunningindefinitelyeveniftheenginehasstoppedandtheengine
compartmenttemperatureishigh.Youcouldbehitbythefanandseriouslyinjured.
Donotleaveitemsintheenginecompartment:
Afteryouhavefinishedcheckingordoingservicingintheenginecompartment,do
notforgetandleaveitemssuchastoolsorragsintheenginecompartment.
Toolsorotheritemsleftintheenginecompartmentcouldcauseenginedamageora
fireleadingtoanunexpectedaccident.
