NOTE
WhenDSCisonandyouattempttofreethe
vehiclewhenitisstuck,ordriveitoutof
freshlyfallensnow,theTCS(partofthe
DSCsystem)willactivate.Depressingthe
acceleratorwillnotincreaseenginepower
andfreeingthevehiclemaybedifficult.
Whenthishappens,turnofftheTCS/DSC.
IftheTCS/DSCisoffwhentheengineis
turnedoff,itautomaticallyactivateswhen
theignitionisswitchedon.

Thisindicatorlightstaysonforafew
secondswhentheignitionisswitched
ON.
ItalsoilluminateswhentheDSCOFF
switchispressedandTCS/DSCis
switchedoff(page5-27).
LeavingtheTCS/DSConwillprovidethe
beststability.
IfthelightstaysonwhentheTCS/DSCis
notswitchedoff,takeyourvehicletoan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.Thedynamic
stabilitycontrolmayhaveamalfunction.
qDSCOFFSwitch
PresstheDSCOFFswitchtoturnoffthe
TCS/DSC.TheDSCOFFindicatorlight
willilluminate.
PresstheswitchagaintoturntheTCS/
DSCbackon.TheDSCOFFindicator
lightwillgoout.
