TirePressureMonitoringSystemí
Thetirepressuremonitoringsystem(TPMS)monitorsthepressureforeachtire.
Iftirepressureistoolowinoneormoretires,thesystemwillinformthedriverviathe
warninglightintheinstrumentpanelandbythewarningbeepsound.
Thetirepressuresensorsinstalledoneachwheelsendtirepressuredatabyradiosignalto
thereceiverunitinthevehicle.

NOTE
Whentheambienttemperatureislowduetoseasonalchanges,tiretemperaturesarealsolower.
Whenthetiretemperaturedecreases,theairpressuredecreasesaswell.TheTPMSwarninglight
mayilluminatemorefrequently.Visuallyinspectthetiresdailybeforedriving,andchecktire
pressuresmonthlywithatirepressuregauge.Whencheckingtirepressures,useofadigitaltire
pressuregaugeisrecommended.
TPMSdoesnotalleviateyourneedtocheckthepressureandconditionofallfourtires
regularly.
