Theadaptablefrontlightingsystem(AFS)
automaticallyadjuststheheadlightbeams
totheleftorrightinconjunctionwiththe
operationofthesteeringwheelafterthe
headlightshavebeenturnedonandthe
vehiclespeedisabout2km/h(2mph)or
higher.
1. SwitchtheignitionON.
2.
Turnthesteeringwheelcompletelytothe
right,andthencompletelytotheleft.
3. Switchtheignitiontooff(LOCK)orACC,
andthenbacktoON.
AFSOFFindicatorlight
4. Makesuretheindicatorlightturnsoff.
Iftheindicatorlightremainsilluminated
aftertheignitionisswitchedONagain,
consultanAuthorizedMazdaDealer.
TheAFSOFFindicatorlightilluminates
brieflywhentheignitionisswitchedON,
andthenturnsoff.
PressingtheAFSOFFswitchcancelsthe
AFSfunctionandilluminatesthe
indicatorlight.
EveniftheAFSisnotoperatingdueto
somemalfunction,thenormalheadlight
functionisstilloperable.
