Whenyoumustslowdowninheavy
trafficoronasteepupgrade ,downshift
beforetheenginestartstooverwork.This
givesbetteraccelerationwhenyouneed
morespeed.
Powersteeringisonlyoperablewhenthe
engineisrunning.Iftheengineisofforif
thepowersteeringsystemisinoperable,
youcanstillsteer,butitrequiresmore
physicaleffort.
Onasteepdowngrade ,downshifting
helpsmaintainsafespeedandprolongs
brakelife.
Ifthesteeringfeelsstifferthanusual
duringnormaldriving,consultan

Passing
Neverholdthesteeringwheeltothe
extremeleftorrightformorethan5
secondswiththeenginerunning.
Thiscoulddamagethepower
steeringsystem.
Forextrapowerwhenpassinganother
vehicleorclimbingsteepgrades,depress
theacceleratorfully.Thetransaxlewill
shifttoalowergear,dependingonvehicle
speed.

Thisindicatorlightilluminateswhenthe
ignitionswitchisturnedtotheON
positionandgoesoffwhentheengineis
started.
Descendingsteepgrades
Whendescendingasteepgrade,shiftto
lowergears,dependingonloadweight
andgradesteepness.Descendslowly,
usingthebrakesonlyoccasionallyto
preventthemfromoverheating.
