Alwayssettheparkingbrakefullyandmakesurethegearshiftis
latchedinP(Park).TurntheignitiontotheLOCKpositionand
removethekeywheneveryouleaveyourvehicle.
Iftheparkingbrakeisfullyreleased,butthebrakewarninglamp
remainsilluminated,thebrakesmaynotbeworkingproperly.
Seeyourdealeroraqualifiedservicetechnician.
Donotspinthewheelsatover56km/h(35mph).Thetiresmay
failandinjureapassengerorbystander.

Inanunavoidableemergencysituationwhereasuddensharpturn

turnthesteeringwheelonlyasrapidlyandasfarasrequiredtoavoid
theemergency.Excessivesteeringwillresultinlessvehiclecontrol,
notmore.Additionally,smoothvariationsoftheacceleratorand/or
brakepedalpressureshouldbeutilizedifchangesinvehiclespeedare
calledfor.Avoidabruptsteering,accelerationorbrakingwhichcould
resultinanincreasedriskoflossofvehiclecontrol,vehiclerollover
and/orpersonalinjury.Useallavailableroadsurfacetoreturnthe
vehicletoasafedirectionoftravel.

Intheeventofanemergencystop,avoidskiddingthetiresanddonot
attemptanysharpsteeringwheelmovements.
