Beforeaddinganyfluid,makesurethecorrecttypeisused.Thetypeof
fluidusedisnormallyindicatedonthedipstickandalsointhe
Lubricantspecificationssectioninthischapter.
Useofanon-approvedautomatictransmissionfluidmaycause
internaltransaxlecomponentdamage.
Ifnecessary,addfluidin250ml(1/2pint)incrementsthroughthefiller
tubeuntiltheleveliscorrect.
Ifanoverfilloccurs,excessfluid
shouldberemovedbyaqualified
technician.
Anoverfillconditionof
transmissionfluidmaycause
shiftand/orengagementconcernsand/orpossibledamage.
