USING SNOW TIRES AND TRACTION DEVICES
Snowtiresmustbethesamesizeandgradeasthetiresyou
currentlyhaveonyourvehicle.
Thetiresonyourvehiclehaveall-weathertreadstoprovidetractionin
rainandsnow.However,insomeclimates,usingsnowtiresortraction
devicesmaybenecessary.
Followtheseguidelineswhenusingsnowtiresandtractiondevices:

SAEclass“S”cableshouldbeusedonlyonfrontaxleforP235/70R16
tires.WithP225/70R15andP215/70R16tires,SAEclass“S”cablescan
beusedonboththefrontandrearwheels.

nottouchanywiring,brakelinesorfuellines.
Drivecautiously.Ifyouhearthecablesorchainsruborbangagainst
thevehicle,stopandretightenthem.Ifthisdoesnotwork,removethe
cablesorchainstopreventvehicledamage.
