Theft indicator
Thetheftindicatorislocatedintheinstrumentcluster.
•
WhentheignitionisintheOFFposition,theindicatorwillflashonce
every2secondstoindicatetheSecuriLock௢systemisfunctioningas
atheftdeterrent.
•
WhentheignitionisintheONposition,theindicatorwillglowfor3
seconds,thenturnoff,toindicatenormalsystemfunctionality.
IfaproblemoccurswiththeSecuriLock௢system,theindicatorwillflash
rapidlyorglowsteadilywhentheignitionisintheONposition.Ifthis
occurs,thevehicleshouldbetakentoanauthorizeddealerforservice.
Automatic arming
Thevehicleisarmedimmediately
afterswitchingtheignitiontothe2
(ACC)position.
The THEFT  indicatorwillflash
everytwosecondswhenthevehicle
isarmed.
Automatic disarming
Switchingtheignitiontothe3(ON)positionwithacodedkeydisarms
thevehicle.
•
The THEFT  indicatorwillilluminateforthreesecondsandthengo
out.
•
Ifthe   THEFT indicatorstaysonforanextendedperiodoftimeor
flashesrapidly,havethesystemservicedbyyourdealer.
Replacement keys
Ifyourkeysarelostorstolenandyoudon’thaveanextracodedkey,
youwillneedtohaveyourvehicletowedtoadealership.Thekeycodes
needtobeerasedfromyourvehicleandnewcodedkeyswillneedtobe
programmed.
Replacingcodedkeyscanbeverycostly.Storeanextraprogrammedkey
awayfromthevehicleinasafeplacetohelppreventany
inconveniences.Pleasevisitanauthorizeddealertopurchaseadditional
spareorreplacementkeys.
