waterwherethetransaxleissubmergedmayallowwaterintothe
transaxleandcauseinternaldamage.Havethefluidcheckedand,
ifwaterisfound,replacethefluid.

Beforeloadingavehicle,familiarizeyourselfwiththefollowingterms:

equipment,fluids,lubricants,etc.Itdoesnotincludeoccupantsor

GVWR(GrossVehicleWeightRating):Maximumallowabletotal
weightofthebasevehicle,occupants,optionalequipmentandcargo.

CertificationLabelonthedriver’sdoorpillar.

GAWR(GrossAxleWeightRating):Carryingcapacityforeachaxle
system.TheGAWRisspecifictoeachvehicleandislistedonthe
SafetyCertificationLabelonthedriver’sdoorpillar.

towingvehicle(includingoccupantsandcargo)andtheloadedtrailer.
GCWR(GrossCombinedWeightRating):Maximumallowable

andtheloadedtrailer.

MaximumTrailerWeightRating:Maximumweightofatrailerthe
vehicleispermittedtotow.Themaximumtrailerweightratingis
determinedbysubtractingthevehiclecurbweightforeach
engine/transmissioncombination,anyrequiredoptionweightfortrailer
towingandtheweightofthedriverfromtheGCWRforthetowing
vehicle.
