accordingtotheproceduresinWorkshopManual.Failuretoreplacethe
BeltandRetractorassemblycouldincreasetheriskofinjuryincollisions.
Combination lap and shoulder belts
1.
Insertthebelttongueintothe
properbuckle(thebuckleclosestto
thedirectionthetongueiscoming
from)untilyouhearasnapandfeel
itlatch.Makesurethetongueis
securelyfastenedinthebuckle.

buttonandremovethetonguefrom
thebuckle.
Tounfasten,pushtherelease
Thefrontoutboardandrearoutboardsafetyrestraintsinthevehicleare
combinationlapandshoulderbelts.Thefrontoutboardpassengerand
rearseatoutboardsafetybeltshavetwotypesoflockingmodes
describedbelow:
Vehicle sensitive mode
Thisisthenormalretractormode,whichallowsfreeshoulderbeltlength
adjustmenttoyourmovementsandlockinginresponsetovehicle
movement.Forexample,ifthedriverbrakessuddenlyorturnsacorner
sharply,orthevehiclereceivesanimpactofapproximately8km/h(5mph)
ormore,thecombinationsafetybeltswilllocktohelpreduceforward
movementofthedriverandpassengers.
