HeadlightsandParkingLights
AutomaticHeadlightSystem—IfEquipped
Turn the end of the multi-function control lever to the
thirddetenttoactivatetheautomaticheadlightsystem.
Turn the end of the multi-function control lever to the
first detent for parking light operation. Turn to the
seconddetentforheadlightoperation.Turntothethird
detentfor“Auto”headlightoperation(ifequipped).
This system performs two functions. With the engine
running and the multi-function control lever in the A
(Auto)position,theheadlightswillturnonandoffbased
onthesurroundinglightlevels.
HeadlightsOnAutomaticallyWithWipers
IfyourvehicleisequippedwithAutomaticHeadlightsit
alsohasthiscustomerprogrammablefeature.Whenyour
headlightsareintheautomaticmode,andtheengineis
running,theywillautomaticallyturnonwhenthewiper
systemison.
Ifyourvehicleisequippedwitha“RainSensitiveWiper
System,”anditisactivated,theheadlightswillautomati-
callyturnonafterthewiperscompletefivewipecycles
within approximately 1 minute, and they will turn off
approximatelyfourminutesafterthewiperscompletely
