Some of the most important safety features in your
vehiclearetherestraintsystems.Theseincludethefront
andrearseatbeltsforthedriverandallpassengers,front
airbagsforboththedriverandrightfrontpassenger,and
windowbagsforthedriverandpassengersseatednextto
awindow.Ifyouwillbecarryingchildrentoosmallfor
adult-sizebelts,yourseatbeltsalsocanbeusedtohold
infantandchildrestraintsystems.
NOTE:
If a power malfunction to the power liftgate
latch should occur, an emergency liftgate latch release
canbeusedtoopentheliftgate.Theemergencyliftgate
latch release can be accessed through a snap-in cover
locatedontheliftgatetrimpanel.
NOTE:
The front airbags have a multi stage inflator
design. This allows the airbag to have different rates of
inflationthatarebasedoncollisionseverity.

Driving with the flipper glass open can allow poi-
sonousexhaustgasesintoyourvehicle.Youandyour
passengers could be injured by these fumes. Keep
theflipperglassclosedwhenyouareoperatingthe
vehicle.
