NOTE: Toimprovethevehicle’stractionwhendriving
withsnowchains,orstartingoffindeepsnow,sand,or
gravel,itmaybedesirabletoswitchtothe“PartialOff”
mode by pressing the ESP switch. Once the situation
requiringESPtobeswitchedtothe“PartialOff”modeis
overcome,turnESPbackonbymomentarilydepressing
the “ESP Control Switch”. This may be done while the
vehicleisinmotion.

FullOff(4WDModelsOnly)
This mode is intended for off-highway or off-road use
whenESPstabilityfeaturescouldinhibitvehiclemaneu-
verabilityduetotrailconditions.Thismodeisenteredby
depressing and holding the “ESPControl Switch” for 5
seconds when the vehicle is stopped and the engine is
running.After5seconds,the“ESP/TCSIndicatorLight”
willilluminate,andtheЉESPOFFЉmessagewillappearin
the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC). Refer
to “Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)” in
Section4ofthismanual.
