The TPMS is not a substitute for proper tire mainte-
nance,anditisthedriver’s   responsibilitytomaintain
correct tire pressure, even if under-inflation has not
reached the level to trigger illumination of the “Tire
PressureMonitoringTelltaleLight.”

and provide excellent fuel economy and
performancewhenusinghighqualityun-
leaded “regular” gasoline having an oc-
tane rating of 87. The use of premium
gasolineisnotrecommended.Undernormalconditions,
the use of premium gasoline will not provide a benefit
overhighqualityregulargasolines,andinsomecircum-
stancesmayresultinpoorerperformance.
