This vehicle has airbags for both the driver and right

frontpassengerasasupplementtotheseatbeltrestraint

systems. The driver’s front airbag is mounted in the

steeringwheel.Thepassengersideairbagismountedin

theinstrumentpanel,abovetheglovecompartment.The

wordsSRS/AIRBAGareembossedontheairbagcovers.

NOTE:

The front airbags are certified to the Federal

regulationsthatallowlessforcefuldeployment.

Thefrontairbagshaveamultistageinflatordesign.This

mayallowtheairbagtohavedifferentratesofinflation

thatarebasedoncollisionseverityandoccupantsize.

Thisvehicleisequippedwithwindowbagstoprotectthe

driver, front, and rear passengers sitting next to a win-

dow. They are located above the side windows. Their

coversarealsolabeledSRS/AIRBAG.
