ActiveHeadRestraints

therestraintandtheoccupant’shead.
Italsohelpsprotecttheoccupants
againstthelikelihoodofwhiplash
andinjuriestotheneckandupper
spine.
Afteracollision,theactivated
restraintshouldreturntoitsnormal
position.
Failure to reinstall the head
restraints can result in severe
injury during a crash.
Iftherestraintsdonotreturntotheir
normalposition,orintheeventofa
severecollision,havethevehicle
inspectedbyaHondadealer.
Always replace the head
restraints before driving.
Thedriver’sandfrontpassenger’s
seatshaveactiveheadrestraints.If
thevehicleisstruckseverelyfrom
therear,theoccupantproperly
securedwiththeseatbeltwillbe
pushedagainsttheseat-backandthe
headrestraintwillautomatically
moveforward.
Whenreinstallingaheadrestraint,
putthelegsbackinplace.Then
adjustittotheappropriateheight
whilepressingthereleasebutton.
Makesuretheheadrestraintlocks
inpositionwhenyoureinstallit.
