temperaturegaugeshouldstayin
themidrange.Ifitclimbstothered
mark,youshoulddeterminethe
reason(hotday,drivingupasteep
hill,etc.).

comingfromunderthehood,turn
offtheengine.Waituntilyousee
nomoresignsofsteamorspray,
thenopenthehood.
Driving with the temperature gauge
reading at the red mark can cause
serious damage to your engine.

leavetheenginerunning,and
watchthetemperaturegauge.If
thehighheatisduetooverloading,
theengineshouldstarttocool
downalmostimmediately.Ifit
does,waituntilthetemperature
gaugereadingcomesdowntothe
midpoint,thencontinuedriving.

shownonthedisplay,the

settheparkingbrake.Turnoffall
theaccessories,andturnonthe
hazardwarninglights.
