theaveragefueleconomy,pressand
releasetheSEL/RESETbutton
repeatedly.
Thisshowshowmuchfuelyouhave.
Itmayshowslightlymoreorless
thantheactualamount.
Therearetwotripmeters:TRIPA
andTRIPB.Switchbetweenthese
displaysbypressingtheSEL/
RESETbuttonrepeatedly.
Avoid driving with an extremely low
fuel level. Running out of fuel could
cause the engine to misfire, damaging
the catalytic converter.
Eachtripmeterworksindependently,
soyoucankeeptrackoftwo
differentdistances.
Theaveragefueleconomywillbe
resetwhenyouresetthetripmeter,
orifthevehicle’sbatterygoesdead
orisdisconnected.
Toresetatripmeter,displayit,and
thenpressandholdtheSEL/RESET
buttonuntilthenumberresetsto
‘‘0.0.’’
