shiftlockreleaseslotcoverto
preventscratches.Usingasmall
flat-tipscrewdriverorametal
fingernailfile,carefullypryonthe
notchofthecovertoremoveit.

4.Insertthekeyintheshiftlock
releaseslot.
6.Removethekeyfromtheshift
lockreleaseslot,theninstallthe
cover.Makesurethenotchonthe
coverisontheshiftleverside.
Insertthekeybackintothe
ignitionswitch,pressthebrake
pedal,andrestarttheengine.
5.Pushdownonthekeywhileyou
pressthereleasebuttononthe
shiftleverandmovetheshiftlever
outofParktoneutral.
Ifyouneedtousetheshiftlock
release,itmeansyourvehicleis
developingaproblem.Haveit
checkedbyyourdealer.
