Canadarecommendthatdrivers
allowatleast10inches(25cm)
betweenthecenterofthesteering
wheelandthechest.Inadditionto
adjustingtheseat,youcanadjustthe
steeringwheelupanddown,andin
andout(seepage 77 ).
Onceaseatisadjustedcorrectly,
rockitbackandforthtomakesureit
islockedinposition.
Adjustthedriver’sseat-backtoa
comfortable,uprightposition,
leavingamplespacebetweenyour
chestandtheairbagcoverinthe
centerofthesteeringwheel.

frontseats.
Ifyoucannotgetfarenoughaway
fromthesteeringwheelandstill
reachthecontrols,werecommend
thatyouinvestigatewhethersome
typeofadaptiveequipmentmayhelp.
Passengerswithadjustableseat-
backsshouldalsoadjusttheirseat-
backtoacomfortable,upright
position.
