maintenancehistory,speed,and

whenthetiresarenotinuse).
Youshouldlookfor:

sideofthetire.Replacethetireif
youfindeitheroftheseconditions.
Inadditiontoyourregular
Cuts,splits,orcracksintheside
ofthetire.Replacethetireifyou
canseefabricorcord.
inspectionsandinflationpressure
maintenance,itisrecommendedthat
youhaveannualinspections
TREADWEARINDICATOR
Yourtireshavewearindicators
moldedintothetread.Whenthe
treadwearsdown,youwillseea1/2
inch(12.7mm)widebandacrossthe
tread.Thisshowsthereislessthan
performedoncethetiresreachfive
yearsold.Itisalsorecommended
thatalltires,includingthespare,be
removedfromserviceafter10years
fromthedateofmanufacture,
regardlessoftheirconditionorstate
ofwear.
