Automotivefluidsarenotinterchangeable;donot
useenginecoolant,antifreezeorwindshieldwasher
fluidoutsideofitsspecifiedfunctionandvehicle
location.
Adding engine coolant
Donotputenginecoolantinthereservoir
forthewindshieldwasherfluid.
Donotmixconventionalgreencoolant,orange
coolantorrecycledcoolantstogetherinyour
vehicle.Useonlythetypeofcoolantthatyour
vehiclewasoriginallyequippedwith.Ifyou
areunsurewhichtypeofcoolantyourvehicle
requires,contactyourlocaldealer.
Ifsprayedonthewindshield,enginecoolantcould
makeitdifficulttoseethroughthewindshield.
Whentheengineiscool,adda50/50mixtureof
enginecoolantandwatertotheenginecoolant
reservoir.Addstraightwateronlyinanemergency,
butyoushouldreplaceitwitha50/50mixtureof
coolantanddistilledwaterassoonaspossible.
Checkthecoolantlevelinthecoolantreservoirthe
nextfewtimesyoudrivethevehicle.Ifnecessary,
addenoughofa50/50mixtureofcoolantandwater
tobringtheliquidleveltothefilllineonthe
reservoir.
